I get upper 20's in town and upper 30's freeway. Srt's can go anywhere from 10-20k depending on year, acr or not, mileage, condition, etc.

FIY they do not make the car anymore so a used one would most likely be your only catch. If you drive the car hard your gas millage will drop.

03s dont have lsd's, 05's have a tendency to throw overboost codes, and have a 3rd gear issue and also can have a problem with the tps

It's definitely possible...Via my scangauge and my gas receipts, I'm getting upper 30's around 14hg with a/f's in the low 14's. I just took fuel out with the dtec to get the ltft's close to 0. I made a post about it on the other forum and several people came in and agreed and told their great gas mileage stories too. It's definitely possible.
I also might add...my ltft's between 2-3k are still in the high singles...I still have a little room to work with...If I drive around around 16hg I can see 40+ but it's not consistent since you have to accelerate up hills and such...But with the "good gasmileage map" I'm trying to make I think I can get over 40 freeway consistently.

I think I need the good gas mod haha. I'm sick of mid 20s. But I guess I have a bike now so I can see 50+mpg with that :)

For the worst case syneario...The value holds great on these cars. Just hold onto any stock parts if you make upgrades. My first 04' was totaled 18mths after I got it and my insurance company paid me $37 less than than what I paid which was $19,009 out the door. I was so pleased I paid off my remaining loan and immediatly bought another one and had $3K spare change. Most bang for the buck!!!!

bull. again, i am cruising at 15.5:1 afr, with my complete standalone, and there is no where near that mileage. my dfco also cuts in agressively.

Whether you believe it or not means nothing to me, I easily get mid 30's and with a little work can get upper. Easy as pie.

belief has nothing to do with anything. im telling you that its not possiable to get high 30s mpg with a 8:1 cr 2.4L motor. your hacking of the LTFT is nothing close to the control i have with my cruising afr's and dfco. think about this for a second. you are cruising at 14.7:1, im cruisin at 15.5:1. this means that i use less fuel than you do, so how is it that your getting significantly better mileage? especially because my standalone is tuned to be more agressive in engaging the decel fuel cut off, significantly more agressive than stock
your spedometer/odometer is off

Speedo is fine via my scangauge. Odometer...not exactly sure but not seeing why it would be off. Like I said, I had made a post on the other forums and there were many people who had similar situations. I'm telling you, keeping the car between 14-16hg while cruising I get upper 30's....
