95 rodeo

My rodeo dump oil on the excust casue a real bad smoke so bad it started to come into the car. I was on the parkway doing about 70. Why would it lose oil like that. Does any onyone know.

Valve cover gaskets are shot - very common on these trucks, not a difficult or expensive fix. If your gaskets are original, that's a good long time.

Mine did that one time too, pulling a boat 65mph coming up through Glenwood Canyon in the Colorado high-country - looked like a freight train coming around the bend.

Not as common but possible at your age/mileage is the rear camshaft seal/plug. Did mine a few months ago. Might as well do them at the same time if you can see leakage.
