1990 touring sedan help?

so i have this 98 touring sedan and the revs suddenly drop after a cold start or when theres less than half a tank of gas also when you press the gas it doesnt catch right away the revs go pretty high before it will actually start to speed up but it doesnt do that all the time any opinions?

Welcome to AF. If the engine revs before the car moves the trans fluid is low or the trans is slipping and an overhaul is on the horizon.

Possibly low on fluid as stated..

Possible in need of a fluid and filter change

Possible weak Trans oil pump or a Blown seal which would require a rebuild

already checked trans fluid and thats all good i did clean out the egr cylinoid an it helped.. for a day..
