I bought a 2002 TB for cheap not knowing what was in store, seems like I was told now that I need a new BCM box (a friend ran it threw the computer and said the windows work fine when computer is hooked up, he could lower them and ran other tests, supposedly) and I have to go to a dealer so that it can be programed

problom is my front (only) windows and doors are dead not even the master switch can lower/lock my back/front doors/windows, but I can lower my back windows if I press the buttom myself (when i go to the back seat), I have an auto start and alarm entry combo,

when I lock the doors with alarm only my back doors close while I hear a constant lcoking noise (about 4 times over) as if its trying to get the front to lock but jsut ant grab, everything else seems fine just the too front doors cna anyone please help with any ideas or info?

can I at least switch the back power with the front for the mean time? will i have more probloms later? is there something i can add on or do to just get it to work again?

and if I do need an new BCM box does anyone know if it has to be a 2002? or will the dealer make me get what they have? please help.

Have your dealer check it out with their Tech 2 computer. If it is the BCM, then the replacement computer will be matched to your VIN and programmed to your specific vehicle. The part is not that bad, retails for 250-300.00 plus labor.

I would guess that you are having a master switch/panel problem. All window/door power functions are routed through the master, which tends to take the brunt of the abuse. I'd start by popping out the master switch panel on the drivers door and do a thorough inspection/cleaning on it.
