HI, the light came on and had most things replaced but light stays on so is there any way to get it off???

First thing would be to read the codes and have some clue about what turns it ON! Then post the code numbers here.

There is no code/s it just came on and stays on. There are no codes that show up in the diagnostic dept..thanks

If the light is ON, there SHOULD be some codes in there.

I must be missing something?do you need something to read the codes? or do they come up in the little window on the instrument cluster.

You must have it scanned on an obd11 capable scanner Autozone will do this free, post back the codes. You did not post the year or engine which is required, but we assume it is 96 or newer?

I'm wondering what he had replaced to try and get the light to go off. That could turn into an awful expensive proposition. And where do you figure on where to start when you go and replace things trying to diagnose the problem?

Well I just found out that the light will go on automatically around 100,000 so a service place can give it a look over. ill post what was "wrong" with it.
