2001 Regal Odometer Dimming

My 2001 Buick Regal odometer and gear shift indicator is dimming. Any idea what is wrong and how to fix.

There is a module inside the Instrument Panel (IP) Cluster. The problem is it requires replacement of the IP or sending the IP to a specialized repair shop.
