I know this is a stupid question that I should already know, but do our cars have pilot bearings??? When I pulled the tranny I didn't see one on the input shaft, and when I built the motor I don't remember seeing one on the crank. If there is one is it removable?? I need to know this, because I'm putting my car back together this weekend, and don't want to run into problems.

No, the pilot bearing. It helps with the installtion of the transmission. It helps you guid the input shaft in the crankshaft and holds it.
