My nephew wants to sell his 1990 Civic EX ( I gave it to him a few years ago). The timing belt broke and damaged the piston/valves. It is an automatic and has 107,000 miles on it. The body and interior is good. It has a Tein Super Street coilover kit, DC headers, 16” Enkei RS5 rims (some curb rash). Since it needs to be towed away, how much should we ask for it?

A grand. I can't see myself or anyone in there right mind paying any higher than a grand for a non working vehicle or a highly cost repair vehicle.

If you have the time and space, part that sucker. Just the EX knuckles alone will fetch 200 on ebay, not to mention the power windows, cluster, tranny, rims, etc.

My nephew doesn't have the space (the car is parked at his mother's).

Yeah. I can agree with that. You're basically purchasing the car for the shell. Which according to that pic it doesn't look so bad.

if it was manual tranny id say a grand easy..those 4drs are becoming hard to find and yours looks to be in nice condition for just that corner of the car..has a decent suspension setup also EX:thumbsup:
