Im taking a wild guess - that one of your doors/trunk/hood are not pushing the 'closed button' far enough. Try opening one of them and pushing the 'button' in as far as possible with your fingers. Mine is a 97 Dodge Noen and doesnt have the 'ajar' light. It happened to our 87 Dodge minivan once, and I had to retighten the adjustable door latch pin on the door frame.

I tried all 4 doors and the trunk and the light continued to stay on.. well i got 2 thinking and the car was t-boned on the drivers side so i think the sensor may just be wrong.. and honestly i dont think this is that big of a deal so im just gunna ignore it.. thanks for the help tho.. im open to trying more ideas!!

I figured it out.. there are little pads that read when the doors are closed and my rear right door pad was missing so im going 2 go 2 a junk yard and pick one up..
