you can invert any sub, just make sure the magnet is away from any obstructions

and make sure you change the phase on that as well other wise it will sound like ass :D

You dont have to change the phase all the time. Ive run inverted subs many times with no sound issues.

And like stated you could invert a 18" 20" whatever size sub.

the only time you MUST invert the phase is when one sub is mounted normal and the other is inverted.
