Getting ready to put a new head on the civic with a 1.5 and i have the camshaft that is in the old head and also one out of a 1.6 si motor. Any difference in the two? And if there is will the 1.6 cam work with the standard fuel injection and ecu? There is nothing wrong with either cam but is it going to make any difference in which one i put in. Thanks for any help.

don't quote me cause I'm not 100% positive, but the 1.5 motor is an 8 valve correct? I couldn't see a camshaft for a 16 valve head working on your 1.5. I know the heads themselves are interchangeable but you would have to mount the 1.6 head on there and not just the cam

The only 1.5 that used the 8 valve head was the HF CRX.

The Si 1.6 cam is a little more aggressive than the d15b2 head cam.

So you think it will work with all the stock 1.5 stuff?

Yes. But you may as well convert to mpfi (you'll need Si intake manifold, PM6 ECU, Si distributor). Then you'll virtually have an Si engine with about 100hp.
