Signature Question

I decided to change my signature today and add my new exhaust, but I keep getting harassed about the size of my sig picture. I never had a problem before, but this is the first time I've tried to change things since I came back. I'm guessing I'm going to have to resize my picture if I want to change my signature???

yea personally i think that new rule about a smaller picture is dumb. i wish they would change it back to whatever we want within reason....

 Yeah, that change was made a while ago. The problem, Mike, is the definition of "within reason." The powers that be decided that a 400x150 (IIRC) is the biggest size within reason so thats what we have to deal with. But yeah, you will need to get a smaller pic if you want to update it.

Do either of you have reasons to need sig pics bigger than 400x150 or over 500 characters?

why would we complain in the first place if we didnt?

My signature is exactly 500 characters, Does it look over done? Do you think there is more stuff I could write...? How would I have known that there was a limit if I didn't try and write more.

It's not that I need a picture bigger than the limit, but I've had the same one for almost 3 years and I kind of like it. I can change it if it's too big, but I didn't know the rules had changed until I attempted to alter my signature.

That's what you get for not being here for a while. :icon16: haha. Just kidding. Feel the love.

I've got the same problem. I don't even want to change my picture, I just want to get the grape_ape thing out of my sig but I can't do it unless I resize my pic and I don't think it's too big at all. I'm contemplating sending twospirts a pm to see if he'll work with me a little bit.

Or, do what I did.... Open up like photoshop and use the text tool with a text box and write out all your mods/ect and save it as a transparent gif or whatever you want. That way the sig code stays small, and you can have anything you want written in it.
