Here are my D problems I have encountered in the last 3 weeks. Your help and imput is greatly appreciated. http://www.dodgeforum.com/image/s6.gifhttp://www.dodgeforum.com/image/s6.gifhttp://www.dodgeforum.com/image/s6.gif
To Start, here are the repairs done by Universal Auto Techs In Toronto Canada, in the last week.
- Bought 4 Brand new tires No Name but the mechanic said it was a Yokohoma Knock off.
- I did all 4 shock all around (Monroe Sense-Trac) and the truck rides like a bull and handles poorly.
- I did brakes all the way around, the fronts are good but the brakes in the back stick even when I press the brake softly it locks up anf the ABS light comes on.
- I bought 2 rear drums
- Oil change
Here are my problems to this day.http://www.dodgeforum.com/image/s6.gif
- The shocks ride and handle like craphttp://www.dodgeforum.com/image/s6.gif
- The rear brakes lock up or feel like they are dragging (feels like one side is doing 70% of the braking)
- When I am driving on the highway the truck is lacking power even going up a hill or when the weather is cloudy and damp the truck has no BALLS like before, or power.
- Now I am getting front end vibration when I am driving on the highway at a 120km
- When I punch it on the highway the truck whines loud and the rpms go up but the speed goes up slowly and it feels boogy and not enough power.
- The front right side is very sloppy when i am driving it bounces and somethimes I hear noises.?
If you all could give me some suggestions or help I would gladly appriciate it I am seriously thinking about selling my durango but if I get it back into shape I might just keep her and save the money from buying a Caddy Escaladehttp://www.dodgeforum.com/image/s6.gif
When I first got this truck is was fast of the line and had lots of power with out any hesitation when I punch it on the highway it was smooth and very quick.
I want to do some mods after these problems are solved. Any suggestions????????? Please HELP!!!!
Thanks so much all,

Responding assuming you understand this is a 5000lb 280HP truck not 3000lb 400HP sports car:
Have the shop check your front ball jooints, some of the symptoms you mentioned point to bad ball joints, very dangerous if they're bad.
the brake symptom you describe is very common with rear brake DRUMS on all vehicles especially in damp weather. Give them a chance to break in and they should be OK.
As for the "no balls" concern...need more info to give advice.
