Audi A4 chrome exhaust tip Question

I recently baught an 1999 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro from the first half of the year. It has the sports package and all. My question is, would it have come with a chrome exhaust tip? I ask because mine has one and I want to know if it is aftermarket or not. I looked at it closely and if it is aftermarket it must be an entire muffler, not just a tip.
