2 household problems

I have 2 annoying issues with the house that need fixing.

1. The kitchen faucet. You lift the handle expecting water, however 50% of the time it comes out full blast and then stops completely. When this happens, you can either lift and lower the handle several times to make it work again, or you can go to another faucet (bathroom) and turn that faucet on for a few seconds to make the kitchen faucet to work. This is really annoying and only happens in THIS HOUSE! I guess something like a faucet really gets taken for granted. I've never seen this before. Any thoughts?

2. Whenever we turn on our microwave, our satellite goes out. It's not just a coincedence. We've noticed this on 2 tvs. As soon as I hit start, the Satellite loses signal. Kinda sucks! Any thoughts here? thanks

#1. Call a plumber. You need a new kitchen faucet.

#2. Change the location of your microwave. I had to do that with mine, had the same problem and the satellite people suggested either move the microwave or the dish. Microwave was much easier to use, it needs to be at least 15 feet from the dish and receiver.

Microwave, cordless phone, cellphone, wireless router etc all interfere with each other.

Found out the hard way not to keep the surround sound speakers too close to the tv either, forgot about the magnets inside the speakers..ended up with nice green and white lines going across my screen.

thanks for the help. The sink problem is annoying but I'm living with it. It seems like there might be air trapped in the line, if that's possible. On the other problem, you guys are probably right. There's about 15 feet between the microwave and both tv's being affected. The tv's (and receivers), microwave, and satellite dish are all in a line. I think we'll be moving the microwave to the other end of the kitchen. thanks again

My microwave interfers with my wireless in the house. I just deal with it.

1. Call a qualified plumber (charge it to your landlord if you're renting)

2. Check if they're on the same circuit breaker, try moving one to another circuit breaker if possible - it could be voltage spiked that's causing the problem. If you determine it's not voltage related, make some shielding for your microwave, and/or move your satellite dish as far from the microwave as possible.
