1995 sunfire speedometer quit working

Hi , I'm new to this forum. My wife bought a 1995 sunfire and the speedomer isn't working. Can anyone tell me how to trouble shoot this. I tried a haynes manual but there is no information in it on this problem. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks Rick
