the delay should eventually be fixed, leaky molds. i also got my hands on a pressure pot so theyll soon be bubble free parts

What is a pressure pot?
Basically a chamber that is air tight to either vacuum out the air or increase the pressure to remove bubbles. For molds vacuum is used, for resin pressure is used.

Oh no! Is that caused by the pressure pot itself? Sorry I have no idea how this chamber thing works at all.

here's a tip for the mold. you need to make it fill from the bottom to the top. when you go to make your first cast (first half of the mold) glue or somehow attach a piece of sprue that will wrap around from the bottom of the wheel to the top of the mold. this will be your FILL HOLE when the mold is complete. then make your vent hole from the top, of course. Before you pour your RTV, look at the wheel and position it in your mold box in such a way that when you fill the finished mold with resin, all of the air is pushed out and is not caught in a pocket creating a bubble in the part. I don't think the fill and smash method would work well in this application, but it might be a consideration.

It is a paint pressure pot you put you resin with the mold under pressure around 40psi. You can get one at Harbourfreight.com.
