94 Lebaron GTC conv. problems help

My car today ran fine but then when i went to start moving after slowing down the car died it took multiple times to start up again then it just lurched forwards and continued to run. My only problem now is the car is running extremely low rpms it was usually running between 2000 and 3000 but now it is running at 500 when i am either coasting or stopped. but when i accelerate it is fine then when i slow down it does the same thing again. i checked the oil trans fluid and powersteering, for some reason, levels and they were fine my only guess is that there is water in my gasoline will someone please give me some info on what might be wrong thanks! :banghead:

Also it is a 3L V6

have you checked the wires that go to the spark plugs?

I had much the same problem, with my 93. I change my fuel filter. It helped a bit. But was not the total answer. I then changed the oxygen sensor just below the air filter on the manifold and my car is been running great ever since.
