I've a 92 3 litre Lebaron convertable.

1. The headlight covers go up and down on their own sometimes.Indicating usually sets them off,but they don't do it when the headlights are on.Any ideas?

2.How do you get to the rear window motors?.I can see them but they look boxed in by the body structure.

3.The turn signals are erratic.Probably a common fault with any car but I'm not mechaniclly minded.

4.I've had to take the fuse out for the interior lights because they won't switch off.Even with the door shut and the interior light switch on the off position.Any help??

Thankas to anyone who can help me with these annoying little problems.

on number three, the problem can be that your lights are giving up, in other words: replace them. as for the other problems I can't really help you.

Ok.. here goes for number 2.. rear window removal..

Its a PAI :grinyes:

1st you gotta undo the 4 bolts that hold the upper part of the back seat and the screws that hold in the side panels, and the rear seatbets.. should all come out as one piece.. :grinyes: Make sure you disconnect the speakers.. I did it ass about face and ended up with bits everywhere :banghead:

When everything is out.. there will be a tar like sound proofing type of stuff over the opening.. disconnect the motor connector from the sidewall it held in by a plastic push clip.. and separated the connector before trying to lift out the window.. you can see 3 bolts (10mm I think) 2 at the top one deep down. The window and its reg lift out.. its a tight fit near the motor end but it will go.. :grinyes: .

Take off the motor make sure to free it as it might be siezed from sittin doin nothing and test it on the bench.. ie run 12v thro it.. i did and just need to replace the cables and repair the framework as the regulators where seized..

good luck

also.. heres a good site I found via Ebay

As far as your headlight problem: the flash-to-pass system opens the doors momentarily when you pull back on the turn stalk, so maybe yours is getting overly sensitive. So maybe w/prob #3 the turn stalk is needing some work.
