Going to look at a motor

I am going to look @ a SR20DE today for my project g20 car. How can i tell what motor it is. ie: high port/low port, production year, etc.

I don't think there is a way to tell the year.

High port has the injectors on top. The plenum (thing the TB attaches to) is below the intake manifold. Low port has the plenum above the intake manifold and the injectors are hidden.

Low port engines came out on USM cars in 94.

if you need a DE motor...i have one sitting at home..it's from a 99 G20 with 45k miles on it. let me know if you are interested

I need:
Coolant sensors, TPS sensor, distributor and thats about all I can think of at the moment.....
