Based off looks alone, give me the Hispano.

whoa is the hispano actually a street legal road car? and the laraki looks sorta like a F360 modena bite off. but the hispano blew me away with the way it looks. it looks like a saleen made by aston martin. is it made by aston martin? because the badge in the front looks very simliar.

I don't like either of them. They look like they use parts from other cars and just glued together. But if I had to choose I'd take the Laraki Fulgura because I HATE THE HISPANIC.
The pic you have is aweful... try these:

I'll got with a 931... they made less than 13,000 and thats rare enough for me... remember, rare means parts are hard to find.

As much as I hate to admit it, the Koenigsegg CC uses a supercharged ford engine.

Say what you will about Ford, but they build very good engines(for perfomance). With $1500, I can build a Ford smallblock that makes 400hp/500ftlbs.

Purely from a looks perspective I'd definitely go with the Laraki Fulgura.

What would you do to it? 1,500 doesn't sound like enough to me. And the smallblock you mean I am guessing is the latest 4.6L 265hp?

Ha, I couldn't get a 4.6 for $1500 :D
I speak of the old junkyard dog, the 400M. Based off the 351 Cleveland, it has a 1" taller deck height, and a potential for a 7+ liter stroker engine. It's a torque monster, and with a $1500 build (new pistons, intake manifold, carb, cam, distributor, heads from Aussie 351C/302C) will make 500lbft on the dyno...
Upgrade to a steel crank and good rods(stroke it while you're at it), slap on a blower or turbos, and you have potential for a 1000 lbft...

Hispano-Suiza. Most definitely... but why are you people bothering with such obtuse choices. Why can't you be like normal people and lust after Bizzarinis, Iso Grifos, Gordon Keebles, Facel Vegas, Scarabs, Minervas, Talbots.......
........for those of you who are not aware of my traditionally warped, surrealistic, and cynical sense of humour. That was a joke.

I don't know about the laraki but the Hispano uses a 640HP corvette engine. I've got the car and driver with the preview of it right next to me. I can't wait to see it in action at Lemans this year, anyone have any further news on if they're going to compete or not?

Gemballa, love your tgline. I love to point out that Ferrucio Lamborghini was an anti-competition, weasilyy little tractor builder who I'm glad Il Commendatore fired.

Old Ferraris made tranny noise because they had heavy, manually-engaged competition clutches and straight cut gears in the transmission. In fact, Ferrari's didn't adopt sychros until the 250SWB Lusso series. And those weren't even guiding sychros, you actually needed the gate to direct the shifts! Ferrucio didn't know how to drive worth a goddamn, so he couldn't deal with race only features like those. The man couldn't double-clutch, match revs, or heel-toe (the first technique, I admit, I haven't mastered either) so he tried to make the Ferrari less of a competition car and more of a road car. SACRILEGE! I still and forever shall contend that Ferrucio Lamborghini was an idiot.

I agree! Even to this day, the Lamborghini is a gussied up womanly attempt a sports car, when compared to Ferrari, and modern Ferraris are pretty watered down and softened up as it is...
All these creature comforts detract from the visceral feeling you get from taking a ride in a 250 GTO

They may be faster, but they're much heavier... Ask anyone in the Diablo challenge what they'd rather be driving

All out speed doesn't even do you any good on the Mulsanne anymore. You've got to have superior braking, plus monster agility to get through that bus stop chicane. Ferraris have always and forever shall offer the best racing balance between power and handling in the most emotive, sensual, and efficient bodies Pininfarina, Carrozeia Touring, and (rarely) Bertone or Ghia, can muster.
If you want extreme top end, I guess a Lambo would be nice. If you want the most agile car out there, it's a Lotus. PERIOD. (okay, technically now it's a Caterham) But a Ferrari is balance. That's why they've chalked up so many Le Mans wins, F1 wins, a few Can-Am wins, and a number of IMSA Camel GT wins.
Besides, have you looked at the stats on the new Enzo Ferrari? 217mph (conservative estimate) and 1+g's on the skidpad. I'd say that the bullshit has been laid to rest.

I would have to say the Laraki Fulgura, but I am ashamed to say that I've never heard of it before, so I would like to request some info on it if you don't mind,
1.Is there a website I can visit for it?
2.Is it available for sale in the U.S.?
3.How much is one?
THANX!:D

I just found out that this beautiful car ( Laraki Fulgura)is a concept car (Which means that it's beyond rare because you'll never see anyone driving it in the street because it's not for sale.):(
