Hi, want to change the pcv on a 1995 gmc safari 170*** miles, auto, air, 2 wh dr.
but I cant see it. do you have to access the engine from passenger compt? any help will be appreciated.
I searched the forum of r 1995 4.3 pcv location and got no direct results. thanks

The engine cover must be removed to access the PCV valve. Unless you have very skinny arms and small hands. The valve is located in the driver side rocker arm cover.

I hate to disagree- but my '94 Astro has a '95 engine in it and both engines have the PCV on the PASSENGER side valve cover with a short hose up to the upper plenum- this has to be a "W" engine- they did not produce the "Z" engine in these years as I recall.....I can reach mine from the front- after I move the power steering fluid reservoir.....

I service 96's, 98's, and 02's regularly, and they're all on the driver side behind the A/C compressor. I can't fit my fat hands in there, gotta remove the engine cover.
