Mazdaspeed Protege vs Contour SVT (MODDED)?

In terms of 0-60 1/4m and all around straight line performance how will a mazdaspeed protege compare against a contour svt stock, and with a few mods...my car has y-pipe cat/res delete and intake? thanx

my bets run are 0-60 7.48 and 1/4m 15.55

I'm told mazdaspeed protege aren't incredibly quick stock. The boost cuts off pretty early. I'd keep the contour as the V6 is decent with mods, even though its a Found On Road Dead.

Stock for stock the SVT is a bit quicker. 0-60 ~ low 7s and mid-low 15s in the 1/4. Personally I like the styling of the Protege better, its about 200lbs lighter and its a turbo so lots of potential for power gains:grinyes: Either would make a great sleeper though
