The switch for my fan (on-off/speed ) broke off. is there anyway i could rig it with another switch or stick a screw driver in there to turn it on?

Look for another entire heater control unit at a local boneyard 1st.....you cant just stick a screwdriver in the switch assy and make it work.....:nono: .
You could buy a SPST Automotive switch and wire one side of the switch using the Light Green wire that goes to the broken blower motor fan switch, then wire the other side of the switch with the Red wire thats connected to the broken fan switch. This will give you full (High) fan speed because you are bypassing the blower motor resistor pack alltogether....basically your providng a FULL 12V to the blower motor but all you will get is a full high speed out of the blower motor.
