External Temperature reading

I own a 99 Olds Intrigue. Last week, I noticed that the external temperature is reading really low (-2C), when it is in the 20's outside. The A/C has stopped working too (I think the 2 are related). Can anyone suggest where I start looking to fix the problem?

The AC will not kick in below a certain temperature, it usually doesnt kick in until above 35 or so? Im not sure, I always run the heat in ECON mode, so I dont really know. But I do know it wont kick in if the temp sensor tells it its too cold outside. Im betting the part I linked you too is your problem.

Thanks a million, LittleHoov. Worked like a charm. Took me 2 minutes to get to the sensor and have it out. Bought the part for CAD$17.00 at the GM dealership. Put it in in a munute. Works great. Thanks for saving me a bundle.
