Here's my screwy opinion. :screwy:
The guy wants to start bidding at High blue book. KBB dot com indicates the car in excellent condition is worth $8,595, good $8,005, and in fair condition $7,270. It seems to me if you can spin a wrench and want a ride that looks to me like it was drove hard, put away wet, and kept in running condition maybe its for you. Looks like the owner put a lot of dinero into the car. If you can, make arrangements to look at the car, take some one with you who can be your "second of eyes" to help you get past the eye candy and seriously look at the mods and the over-all condition of the vehicle. Take a test drive and see how the suspension treats you plus feel the "wow" factor when you step into the throttle. If the dude doesn't take you seriously, won't let you check out and the drive the car...Walk away from it or ignore the sale on eBay.

When investing parts into your car you cannot expect to get paid in return when you sell it.
You have to look at who did the work too. Was it some half-ass shade tree mechanic, or professionally done? Eipermax is right-he shouldn't get that much. I hope to hell no one bids on it.
It's got over 150K on it, the guy probably beat on it(racing, etc.), It's a 2000, it's not a rare car. Maybe if he stuck all the mods in the trunk, new, unopened, and had 50K on it it might be worth that much.

With those mods on it, who wouldnt drive it fast and hard? Its mileage is high, you could do better finding a cheaper base care with less miles on it, then upgrading it as you see fit. Even though I have only done a few mods on my car so far, it is kind of rewarding to watch your investment grow in power and performance. :smokin:

Also, listen to Eippermx regarding taking a buddy with you to look at it. A 2nd opinion is an option many people wish they had after making a mistake...
