ok i have an 88 ls and im about to drop a 1.8l out of a 92 teg i was wondering if my 1.6l tranny would bolt up to the 1.8l you help is really needed thanks

Correct me if im wrong, but your 88 integra has a D16A1 (dohc)motor, right? The 92 LS motor is a B18A. Since these two motors are different series, your old trans will not mate to the B18A block. Get a B series trans. problem solved.:p
