Spoiler Help

I have a 1992 Cougar and I would like to know what would be the best glue or adhesive to attach a spoiler to my car. It is a factory part. Thanks for your help.

doublesided 3M tape might work the best I've used it to attach a couple things to my car and it has yet to let go
