alright, well i barely know a thing about the ecu at all, stock D16A6 engines have the PM6 ecu correct?
now ive read a few things about performance chips and such, now im asking if they're worth while, and if there are performace chips made for the PM6 and by who?
right now i got the usual CAI, header, exhaust done performance wise, and with this chip, will it alter how the engine runs that much that it will create problems int he future?

thanx alot

They are worth it, which one you get depends. I have seen some good results off some of the chips off ebay. Maybe you can look there.

My only complaint w/ my Mugen chipped PR3 is that i now have rough starts. Once it starts to catch I have to pump the gas..and then it's fine. only does that when the engine's cold. Other than that...I love it. Especially the removed speedlimter :D :devil:112mph:devil: anyways..be sure and get one that has a revlimiter that is the same as yours...or close to it...that's how i popped my motor:(

If your looking for a chip on e-bay get one from JDMAUTOPARTS his seem to be the best I have got 4 chips in the last 4 months and his give the best power all around. MAKE SURE you have a chipable ecu befor you buy a chip. Disconnect the battery, remove the floor cover and unhook all the connectors from the ecu. Pull the 4 screws off the top cover. Look at the chip in the lower left hand corner if it is 28 pin and says okie on it you can upgrade the chip. You will need to be able to solder and desolder. It is a pain in the ass so make sure you get a 28pin socket so you can remove and install the stock (modded) chip as you wish.

About $400 for the right burner. I checked it out. If I could get the blank chips cheap enough I would buy one, but the cheapest I found them is $11 each. I would have sell them at like $15 to beat the other guys prices so the return is not fast enough for me.
