White smoke when it's cold

Is this normal? white smoke comes out of my exhaust when it's cold outside... my dad says it's normal but why doesn't other cars do this?

white smoke is caused by burning water. when its cold out theres alot of condensation over everything so when you start your car the exhaust is burning all the condesation off.
so the exhaust heats the condensation in the exhaust piping causing it to turn into steam aka white smoke

It is perfectly normal. 99% of the cars out there do the same thing...
Now if the smoke is any other color but white, you could have a problem

yeah, don't worry about white while warming up. I was behind this guy the other day on the mountain & he had a hatchie & I felt like I was playin the video game spyhunter. Everytime he stepped on it, I got blinded by a cloud of black smoke. That dude's got serious issues!

dont do like me and freak out, I had a 88 Beretta GT that started that one morning so I parked it in the front yard and slapped a "For Sale" sign on it :D
