Hows ya rear strut brace going??? Rear strut's fine. Just having a bit of trouble with the car feeling sluggish. I switched petrol last week and whether that's a coincidence or not we don't know. I've gone back to Synergy 8000 and reset the computer, but it still feels sluggish. Any ideas???

Your not just get used to the car???
Try doing the reset., before you go back to the other petrol. The ECU may have set itself to the charactoristics of the Mobil.
What petrol did ya swap to? I have found that I have slighlty more explosive power but less economy with BP Ultimate over the Mobil. Try using Gull. That's some good stuff too, everytime I go over to Masterton I full up with it there.
Is it still coming onto boost the same? Don't have any exhaust leaks or loose hose clamps on the I/C piping?

Arrrrrrggghhhhhhhhhhh I always get asked that!!!
I was using Mobil Synergy 8000 for ages and then filled up with BP Ultimate (don't ask me why  ). Ever since then it's been sluggish. I've gone back to Synergy 8000 and we reset the computer last night. I haven't been game to try Gull with it being only 96 octane.
We found out recently that the previous owner used AVGAS in my car at some stage hence why we thought of the Oxygen sensor.
With regards to the boost. As with how it drives, everything seems to feel like more of an effort for it. It will boost OK but I need to give it more than usual to get there. Same goes for when I start off at a set of lights or going uphill. Everything seems more of an effort for it. :(
Do you think I should it checked for exhaust leaks and check the intercooler piping???

It seems unlikely that it would be leaks but hey, I have seen stranger things.
If your idle is ok, then I don't think it would be the O2 sensor. Maybe you got a bit of a mongrel bacth of gas and it had a few yuckies in it or something.... may have fouled your plugs or injectors or something. Why not give Rob a call at Possums and see what he thinks......

I’ve got it booked in at Advanced on Monday for a fuel filter change and injector cleaning. I’ll see what happens with that. Not sure if the fuel filter has ever been changed and it’s done just over 100,000kms now. Poor car had a pretty tough life with the previous owner I think too. :(
