944 Block Swap

I have a 86 944 that is n/a and i was wondering if it could be possible to put a turbo short block. The bottom end went out on my n/a. The head has been port and plolish with a 3 angle valve job and also enlarge valves. The intake also have been port and polished. I was just wondering if it can be possible on the setup i have.
