i need some help

ok i got a set of 305 high output heads. and i need to know if it will work and/or hurt to run them on a stock 350 old style block. and i need to know if i will need to change pistons or if i can use the original pistons. thx advance

a chevy small block is a chevy small block.
everything fits everything.
from a 287 right up to a 400 and everything in between.
of course the parts are designed for the displacement so you wouldn't want to put 305 heads on a 383 stroker or anything like that, but what you're talking about will work.
