Low mileage garage queen E30's usually run worse and break more IMHO.
Check the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, belts, hoses, front lower balljoints, front lower control arm bushings, tie rods, sway bar links & bushings, front struts and mounts, rear shocks and mounts, front hubs, rear bearings, exhaust hangers, brake calipers, brake master cylinder, clutch hydraulics, engine mounts, transmission mounts, diff mount, driveshaft flex disc, and driveshaft support. Airflow meter & idle control valve will probably need a good cleaning and the oxygen sensor will probably need to be replaced. Cap/rotor/wires may be cracking by now.
All are wear items on that car, and will go bad from sitting just as much as from driving (if not more so.)
Good luck,
Jon
