Cruise control

We just got a 01 GT and cruise doesnt work..No lights come on when i push the button..On the box under the hood i unpluged and put a test light on and there were i think 2 or 3 that were hot..I assume i have a bad switch,but thought id ask here first..Thanks for the help in advance..Rodney

First I'd check the fuses.

To replace the switch on the steering wheel you'll need to remove the air bag to get to the screws holding it on.

Thanks for the reply..I did check all the fuses (which there are like 3 or so) and they were all good..How could i check to see if the switch is bad?..The only thing i could think of was to put a test light on it when pressing the on/off button and see if there is any juice to it..Thanks again..Rodney
