I just bought a 2000 Honda Civic EX and I was wondering about ways to prevent rust because I know thats a typical Honda Problem.
My friend said some of the weather strip accidentally traps moisture and debris beneath it causing rust and that this is a "known problem".
Any truth to it?
Also...
When I put the sunroof back it stops like 3 inches before what I would expect to be fully back, is that just how they are?

A wax job a few times a year will help slow it down. I also take mine to the coin wash very often during the winter & spray it down, concentrating on the underbody when ever I see salt build up.

Yeah I live where theres a lot of salt on the roads too so I'll definitely be washing it a lot during the winter.
