How do you purge the air out of the cooling system?

I have a 2.4 and theres a bleeder on the 2.2 but not sure about the 2.4.

Should be the same or similar.
On the 2.2, there's a metal tube that runs along the front of the engine frrom the passenger side water pump outlet, to the firewall on the driver side. That tube has the bleeder screw on it, along with a label similar to "Do not bleed system when engine is running"

To bleed it, get the engine up to operating temp (needle at center of higher on gauge) thermostat must be open and operating.
Shut the engine off, and slowly open the bleeder screw until you hear air starting to escape. Let the air escape until you see a steady stream of fluid come out.

Close the screw when fluid flow is steady.
It sometimes takes 2 or 3 bleeding procedures to purge the system.

I didn't need to bleed by 2.4 after changing the radiator.
