Omg: Vr4 V.s Viper Srt-10

lol the fastest car i've ever been in is my car. i've never seen anything like this before.
story is i get on the express lane wich is pretty empty and decide to fix my b/c back to normal. as i'm adjusting the boost and gain a beautifull yellow viper convertible pulls up behind me.
i'm thinking "it doesnt really matter if i get my psi back up to 14.5 or not, i'm not gonna win" so i turn it up a few but its only putting me at 11psi(got more adjusting to do)
as soon as i dial it in for 11psi he gets over one land and i hear nothing but V10 POWER. he hits it and i hit it right after. i honestly felt like i was standing still. from 70 to 110 he put 5 bus lengths on me, and i had a grin on my face as if i seen beyonce but naked in the shower :icon16:

if only i had my car how i want it, i would have lost by 4 buses instead of 5 :lol:

my god, i didnt really know what 500hp would do against my 320hp

haha nice death man,, i wish i could have the honor of losing to a car like that. was the viper stock (from what you could tell)? and it was probably a little slower than the hard tops since it was only a vert :lol:

Nice death. People don't seem to realize how fast Vipers/New Z06's are. I remember when I would go out street racing, and a brand new Viper was destroying everybody, including the modded cars. Looking at the newest incarnation of the Viper coming out (600hp), one has to wonder if they really even need to go to a tuner to make even more power, as they won't even grip on the street anyways.

haha, nice death. My friend tried that once in his grand prix...you couldn't even count the # of bus lengths the Viper put on him in 2nd gear alone.

Good loss. Absolutely no shame in losing to an $80,000 car. This has got to be one of the most expensive cars that someone on AF has raced in a while hasn't it?

Coulda been me, there are some Ferraris, Lambos, and high end Porsches in my area that'll go at it every now and then. If I'm lucky, like I have been a few times, I get to see.

Hehe, well... Now you know... But talking about the SRT-10s, I'd still rather to get the Z06 over it... I don't think the SRT is worth what Dodge asks for it...

Good race though... No shame in that loss... If I saw it happen, I would've pulled up next to you, and give YOU a thumbs up...

Musashi's run in with the Maserati is around that price, but its def a rare thing.

I'm not a big fan of the viper's rear. It just looks too normal compared to the rest of the car. Sort of Volvo-ish. The coupe is better with the spoiler scooping around the lights tho.

lol sweet race, i raced one last summer in my cavalier, lol it was a slaughter. I watched it get sideways at like 50MPH and just bolt.

has mr. luos ever raced a viper? i'm sure he'd at least give it a run for its money

i was actually thinking the same thing

on the same altitude mr.luo's should be making 100 more hp than a stock viper. so mr.luo's would be the one putting bus lenghts on that viper.

but yeah i wish i could see a car that fast move on the highway. i sat in one only once when i worked valet. and damn we just halfed it and the back end kicked out. very very potent car!!!

not a fan of the ass on the convertible, but love the rear end on the coupes. but awesome car non the less. i love the looks of the viper over the C6 Z06, but the interior shares many parts with a jeep liberty, and that is not a good thing.
