I know this is a general question and alot of factors are involved. I just wanted to get a feel for what a 350 Z is going for. I live In New Jersey just moved from Florida so I know my insurance will increase. I have an Cl Type S and I am paying $885 a year. When I transfer it to N.J I was quoted $3,000 a year. I am still shopping around, believe me. I am looking to get into a Z within a few months. I am a home owner, Married and 29. I would appreciate any feed back you guys may have. thank's

3K? Thats a hell of a lot of money for insurance on a mid twenty thousand dollar car. Do and/or your have many points or something? I know insurance rates vary around the country but that just seems high to me.

Believe me my friend i am not going to pay 3,000 for auto insurance. I will be shopping around. I can understand 1,800 to 2,200 but 3,000 is insane. The thing that crack's me up is that I do have a clean liscense, no points and my wife's record is the same. it is still early for me, meaning I am in the process of finding a lower rate.:)

I just called for a quote last week. I am in CT (which tends to be d*mn expensive) and I am 22. Clean record, single. The 350z will be about 1080 per/six months. or 2160 a year....of course that number will vary depending on your liability numbers. For example you own a house, and I don't....so I don't have much to protect....so your liabilites my be set higher than mine = higher payment (i am just starting to learn how that works, so sorry if that is inaccurate). But then you get discounted for being over 25, married, and etc...3000 sounds way too high!!!

Actually
my brother just got a brand new 03 Celica,
and he paid 2200 for insurance.
so it is not totally insane for 3000.
so how much did you guys paid??

I live in Dayton Ohio, am 30, married, house, no kids. Insurance is cheap out here. I paid $1085 per year on my trans am, and my payment only went up $32/year for my brand new Z which I picked up yesterday (woohoo! Yes, it's MORE awesome than I expected). Now I was born and raised in new york, that's why $1100 a year for insurance sounds cheap to me, but I'm happy with the price. I thought getting a 2-seater was going to dramatically increase the price.

I just picked up a Base Z (Chrome Silver) from a dealer in Red Bank, NJ on Wednesday night. 39 month lease is $229/month and my insurance (through New Jersey Manufacturers) is about $1,100/year. $500 deductibles, $1.0M liability coverage.

I am in Cinci!! I used to live in Dayton! I am married, no kids, and 27. I pay about $86/mo. I used to live in MI, so this seems like a steal.

If you insure it as a second car it is a lot less. Mine should be around 1100 since I don't drive it to work and it is a second car. Primary insurace for the explorer is 700 a year.

I am 18 and i am paying $3700 a year. It sucks but it is worth it for the Z.

I just recieved a quote for a six month premium of $522 for full coverage on an '03 350Z Track model from USAA.
I'm 24, recently married, with nothing on my record.
Guess, I'm just glad I don't live in New Jersey!
