Hey guys I just got a rewire kit for my walbro 190 and I was just wondering where you guys who have done this swap ran the wires through the firewall, just seeing if you used an existing hole or made your own. I am thinking somewhere on the passenger side near the floor but I dunno if you guys know anything better.
thanks for the advice

Hey guys I got a quick question:
when I was doing the fuel pump rewire today the instuctions that came with it and the instructions on vfaq were a little different.
On the one that came with it it says wire the main power supply from battery to terminal 30 on the relay and the vfaq says that wire goes to 87 and vice versa. So whats the deal are they interchangeable or which one is right?
theres vfaw http://www.raktron.com/fuel/rewire5.html
and this is what my instructions say
Connect the push on tabs to the 30A relay terminals as follows:
Main F.p wire (from battery) to 30 (contact). Blue wire from white F.P conntor to 87 (contact). Blue wire from harness to 86 (coil positive). Black wire to 85 (coil ground)

How did you measure 13.8 volts?

Honestly i dont remember the exact wire i checked. Maybe either the blue or blue w/black and hooked it to the volt meter. I think i just checked wires going to the pump until i found one with battery voltage. Just remember not to check the wire that you ran that goes straight to the battery cuz of course it will have whatever your alternators putting out, but im sure you already knew that.
