Driver's Door Key Cylinder

My girlfriend owns a 2001 Cavalier and several months ago someone tried breaking into it. My problem is the knocked out the key cylinder on the drivers door and distorted the metal on the door from where the key cylinder locked in place. My question is, is there any aftermarket company that makes a plastic or metal ring that could cover up the distorded metal so that I could reinstall the cylinder or am I stuck buying a new door?
