interior lighting

i was thinking about puting neon lights in my car but i don't want to hot wire them to my main battery what i was thinking is maby getting a small battery like a motorcycle battery or an atv battery and wiring it to that what do you think? http://coprelude.com/forum1/html/emoticons/blink.gif
