has anyone seen a muffler like this for sale? w/ any type of dual tips coming out of both sides of one muffler. i've only seen dual muffler systems, which cost around $500 to $1000. i'd assume this cost much less b/c it's only one muffler. is it anygood (performance)?

b/c i like the dual tip (on both sides). would give a car a more even look. if you see/ have seen this type of muffler please reply back w/ the website/store who carries it.

THANKS

Dual on a Hatchback would look funny, our bumper has a cutout which would make it uneven. It would look better on Sedan (so they would look like the Accord V6 ones sort of).

Just an FYI - Sedan also has a single cut out for exhaust pipe.
To do it "RIGHT" would require removing the cut out from an old bumper and molding it in on the right side of the existing bumper.
This might apply to Hatch and CRX as well.

dfarres, thats the Neon ACR muffler. you could use a camaro muffler, its single inlet, dual outlet. might be a tad big but its the same thing

That muffler is made by EPS, a company here in Holland. They make some custom mufflers for 4th gen's/CRX. (www.uitlaten.com <- dutch for exhaust :D), You can see more on my site, here's the direct link http://www.civic4g.com/products.htm (I think that's were you got the pic from too ;) )

This one is also made by them

i dont know whats worse, the 6 pipes, or the civic hb midwing........ I'm talking about the midwing on the crx..... because if you look closely, it has a wing, with the civic hb wing right under it.... FUGLY!

lol, i diddt notice that! yo, that is so ugly, almost as bad as that TIRE TINT crap at auto barn, this kid at school has green tire tint on a yellow sentra with dual exhaust and a 50 foot aluminum wing!!! :apuke:

Im sorry but there is no need for our cars to have dual outlet exhaust. Number one it looks super shitty in my opinion and two every time I look at one I think of a Crapalier or a Peon!

personally i dont like the way it looks simply cuz it looks stupid
but i always believed in "different strokes for different folks"

and as for perfomance, i think think it will help at all
cuz its probably a 2 chamber design if not a 3 chamber design

the best muffler is no muffler but a straight thru style will have to do, if your looking for a striaght thru design with a nice low tone then i suggest a dynomax ultra flo
i have one with a 2.25 cat back and the best part is that its a stock replacement, so i wont get hassled but cops

Dual exhaust looks good when your bumber has the dual cut-outs other than that i think it's pointless to put on that exhaust with a stock rear bumper.
