Impreza WRC 2001 Monte Carlo

This is my first post - hope it works!

Some pictures of my latest. Petter Solberg's Impreza from the 2001 Monte Carlo. Have to say, I don't like Tamiya's new "fluorescent" decals - very brittle. Recently completed a 2001 Focus WRC and just about every decal split while trying to place it. Anyway....

Also, here are some photos of my Impreza collection (what is the collective noun for Imprezas? a school, a flock, a herd? ... I like a murder of Imprezas). The '94 was done before Tamiya TS-50, so it is off colour. Just acquired a new one, so I can repeat....

a murder sounds good to me! That's an awfully nice murder you have there!

Where'd you get the decal set for the orange one?

the decal set for the ornage impreza (Norisbank) is from Studio 27 - a real pain to get around the curves of the rear of the car, and the blue is slightly wrong, but otherwise a good decal set

By any chance, do you like the Subaru Rally Team?

Sweet! Nice looking Rexxies, I love the MY00 22Bs, they were a very nice shape even if they only had fat flares and a big spoiler! They look just that though.....Fat...

potsie,
Welcome to AF.
It's nice to actually meet somebody who has more Impreza's than me, I only have 4 and the one I drive.....hehe.....
I like the Norrisbank addition too, makes a nice change to see it built.
I am waiting on the 2002 edition to be released by Tamiya though, how about you?
Then we will have to wait for the 2003 for the new shape....hehe....
Keep up the great work.

Ray
