hey
on my bottle of prestone coolant, it says u can mix it 50/50 with water or u can mix it 70/30 for a higher boil over temp
if i mix it at 70/30 will the car run cooler on the temp guage?

No! If you mix it 70% antifreeze to 30% water it won't actually cool better but it will increase the boiling point of the coolant. Since you want the cooling from the water in the radiator stick with the 50/50 mix. If you are running hot then a lower temp thermostat can help but make sure you don't go too low without changing the fan turn on points in the PCM. This requires reprogramming. Finally there are a couple of additives that are available that improves the thermal efficiency of the water that can be helpful.
