02 V6 engine rev'ed when starting

Does anyone have am idea why my 02 escape starts highly rev'ed (always!)?It lasts for 2-3 seconds and then it goes normal.....:screwy: Thanks.

I would look into your Idle Air Control Valve or the Throttle Position Sensor.
