sun roof problem

hi ppl....
I have a problem with my sun roof.....It hardly opens/closes......some times it goes all the way,and some times it`ll stop half way....and starts making wierd sounds....it seems like right hand side is being pulled by the motor and the other not.....therefore I have to force the left one in to close/open.......
plus ever since it heppent even when its closed its not sitting level.....
what might that be,and how do i fix it????

Either the motor is starting to go, or the mechanism is off the tracking. I wouldn't know how to fix it, and seeing as doing so would most likely mean digging out the roof or roof liner in some way...eek.
