Cruise control not working

I have a 2005 Grand Prix GTP and I replaced my factory radio with an aftermarket one and now my cruise control doesnt work. The door chimes dont work either. Is there a connection between the cruise control and stereo? I lost my calender function, which I expected, and had to buy aftermarket harnesses to keep my steering wheel volume controls and Onstar working. What did I do wrong with the chimes and cruise? Anyone done this or any ideas? Thanks.

Not ta flame you, if you lost your cruise when you swapped your OEM for an aftermarket radio, why didn't you go back to the original radio to to see if that solved your problem? :dunno:

I can't go back to the original radio, I already spent $3500 on a complete stereo system. I think I might know what the problem is but thanks for the feedback.
