I have a 1995 Mustang and had done some mods to it. I know I should have got a GT but kinda on a strict budget. (It got so bad i had to sell my 92 5.0 to help out my mom financially.(so I went with the six) Anyway, I have had my engine bored .30 over, headers, flowmaster exhaust, hypertech performance chip and headers, and a K&N cold air intake system. Its to my belief that 1995 3.8 came with only 150 horsepower stock but I know i got more than that. Just trying to get a rough estimate cause this enquiring minds would like to know, and there no dyno shops where I live. Holler back.

190ish :) Flowmasters don't help. Port the heads, that will free up some power. The 3.8 is a VERY good power plant.

So far it seems i'm at a good start. split port heads? How much would that increase it by?

Depends on who does it :) How far they go. You need to find a site just for the 3.8, then you get your answers

Stock '95's have 145 hp, 150 hp started in '96 with new heads that had exhaust ports improved a little over '94/'95 heads. Your best bet is to either do a split port swap or get an M90.
