There in some sort of sensor on the driver side of the intake manifold. What is it held on by? It needs to come off so i can replace my timing belt and is in the way of the timing belt cover coming off. Any advice?

I dont understand what you are saying... is there a hose in the way? is in on the plenumm?

you must have an NA. i'm pretty sure you are talking about the VICS motor (variable induction controller). its held on by 3 or 4 allen head bolts. you can either remove the bolts, taking out the entire motor, OR you can just unplug the 2 connection on the motor. if you decide to remove it, the gear inside will rotate (you'll here a snap as it rotates 90 degrees). pay attention to which way it rotates, as you'll need to rotate it back the same way when you reinstall it. b/c i've seen people mess it up and forget to rotate it back, i would just unplug the 2 connectors from the motor.
